Our 4 wire resistive HMI technology is both impact resistant and economical. Our touch screen terminals are manufactured with ITO (indium tin oxide) top and bottom layers, and glass or acrylic panels that are coated with electrically-conductive and resistive layers separated by a narrow gap. When a user presses the surface of the touchscreen, these layers connect at the touch point, registering its X and Y coordinates to process the input command.
