Dyna-Graphics' 5 wire touch screen terminals consist of glass or acrylic panels, coated with electrically conductive and resistive layers separated by a narrow gap. When a user presses the touch screen, these layers connect at the touch point and change the electrical current, which registers the X and Y coordinates and processes the input command.
